    Description

    Vintage British India Knife/short sword measuring 23" overall with a blade length of 15".  "INDIA" stamped on the left side ricasso blade, good condition showing some age patina, wear, use, the scabbard and the brass piece on the handle used to be able to turn and would lock it in place, unlocking it, you would turn the brass knob.  The brass on the scabbard has some loss so it does not work like that, but you can still close it nicely and it stays in place.  Black wood handle and scabbard in good condition with a little loss over by the pommel end, brass loss.  Looks to have a white bone on handle with a scroll design.  See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
